Black Pepper
Inclusive of all taxes · Pan-India shipping
Whole peppercorns from a single forest in the Western Ghats — naturally cultivated, sun-dried on the vine, and never polished. Bite into one and you'll taste why this region's pepper has shaped Indian and global kitchens for centuries.
Why this pepper tastes different.
Western Ghats Origin
Grown in the Ghats — the region where black pepper originated and still grows wild. Distinct terroir, unmistakable depth.
Sun-Dried, Unpolished
Dried slowly on the vine and hand-graded. We don't polish or steam-clean — that's what dulls the aroma of most retail pepper.
High Piperine
The compound behind pepper's heat, aroma, and bioavailability boost. Our pepper tests well above industry averages.
No Additives
No anti-caking agents, no flavour enhancers, no powdered fillers. Whole peppercorns — exactly as the farm packed them.
From the forests of the Western Ghats.
Black pepper isn't just a spice — in this region, it's history. The Ghats have exported pepper for over two thousand years, and the families we work with have grown it for generations. Vines climb existing trees on small mixed-cultivation plots; berries are hand-picked when they begin to turn red, sun-dried until they blacken, and packed straight from the farm.
No fumigation. No bleaching. No long warehouse months. What you receive is what the farm picked.

Three ways to use it.
Fresh-cracked
Grind directly over food just before serving — fish, eggs, salads, pasta. The aroma hits hardest in the first 60 seconds.
Whole in cooking
A few peppercorns in dal, biryani rice, broths, or pickling brines. They release flavour slowly without overwhelming heat.
With turmeric
A pinch of fresh-cracked pepper alongside turmeric increases curcumin bioavailability dramatically. Tradition, backed by science.

Common questions.
Why whole peppercorns instead of ground pepper?
Pepper loses aroma within weeks of grinding — the volatile oils evaporate quickly. Whole peppercorns stored properly stay aromatic for 1-2 years. We sell whole so you get the flavour the farm packed, not the flavour a six-month-old powder retained.
Do you sell ground pepper too?
Not in our retail range. If you need pre-ground pepper for a business or restaurant kitchen, get in touch via our B2B page — we can grind to order for wholesale customers.
What's the best way to grind it?
A simple peppermill works perfectly. For larger quantities, a mortar and pestle gives a coarser texture that's beautiful on steaks and roasts. Avoid electric grinders if you can — the heat dulls the oils.
How long does whole pepper last?
Properly stored (cool, dry, dark, airtight), whole peppercorns retain peak flavour for 18-24 months. Ground pepper loses most of its aroma in 4-8 weeks. This is why we sell whole.
